Reflective Product Photography: Ski Goggles Ecommerce Project

Reflective Product Photography: Ski Goggles Ecommerce Project

Photographing reflective products requires precision, control, and experience. This project features Shootify’s work with a leading eyewear brand, focusing on reflective product photography for ski goggles. Combining advanced lighting techniques with consistent angles and styling, the goal was to deliver clean, high-quality ecommerce product photography that accurately represents lens color and material.

As a product photography studio for online shops, Shootify specializes in complex surfaces, ensuring every image meets the standards required for ecommerce, branding, and marketing across all platforms.

Working with Glade Optics

Working with reflective products is one of the more technical areas of product photography, and it’s something Shootify specializes in. In this project, we worked with Glade Optics, a brand known for high-quality ski goggles. The goal was to create clean, consistent ecommerce product photography that accurately represents the product while maintaining a strong, minimal aesthetic.

The Challenge: Reflective and Translucent at Once

Ski goggles present a unique challenge. They are both reflective and translucent at the same time. The lens surface reflects the environment, while also allowing light to pass through, creating color shifts and gradients.

Capturing this correctly is critical, as customers rely on images to understand how the lens will look and perform.

Controlled Lighting Setup

Eyewear product photography studio by Shootify. Ski goggles with blue-purple mirrored lens and white branded strap on a white background.

To achieve this, we built a controlled lighting setup designed specifically for reflective surfaces. Instead of allowing uncontrolled reflections, we shape the light carefully to create smooth gradients across the lens.

This helps highlight the color transitions — from lighter tones to deeper shades — while avoiding unwanted reflections.

Consistency Across the Product Line

At the same time, maintaining consistency across the product line was essential. Every image was captured using the same angles, camera position, and lighting ratios. This ensures that when products are displayed together on an ecommerce site, they feel uniform and professional.

Consistency is one of the key elements of high-quality ecommerce photography. Even small variations in light or angle can make a product line look uneven. By following a structured workflow, Shootify ensures that every image aligns perfectly across the full collection.

Color Accuracy for Reflective Lenses

Another important part of this shoot was color accuracy. Reflective lenses often display multiple tones depending on lighting conditions. Our goal was to represent the product as closely as possible to how it appears in real life. This is especially important for online shoppers who rely entirely on visuals when making purchasing decisions.

Minimal Post-Production, Balanced Result

Post-production for this project was intentionally minimal. Because the images were captured with precise lighting and control, only light retouching was needed. This helps maintain a natural, realistic look while still delivering clean, polished results.

The final images achieved a balance between technical accuracy and visual appeal. The lens reflections feel smooth and intentional, the product shape is clearly defined, and the overall presentation aligns with modern ecommerce standards.

Why Brands Choose a Specialist Studio

This project is also a strong example of why brands choose to work with a dedicated product photography studio. Handling reflective products requires both technical knowledge and experience. Without proper control, reflections can easily become distracting or inconsistent.

By working within a single system, we ensured consistent lighting across all images, matching angles and framing, accurate color representation, and clean, distraction-free reflections. The client returned to Shootify for additional work — a result of reliable quality, consistency, and efficient production.

At Shootify, the focus is always on delivering professional product photography that works across ecommerce platforms, marketing, and advertising. Reflective products like ski goggles are a perfect example of how technical execution directly impacts the final result. For brands working with eyewear, accessories, or any reflective surfaces, having the right production setup is essential — and it makes all the difference in how the product is perceived online.

Modest Fashion Brand Photoshoot: Product Photography Studio Project

Modest Fashion Brand Photoshoot: Product Photography Studio Project

At Shootify, a product photography studio for online shops, each project is built around consistency, branding, and visual storytelling. This project highlights a fashion collection for a modern modest women’s brand, combining flat lay photography, on-model photography, and ecommerce product photography into one cohesive system.

From pinned wall flat lays to creative editorial images and video content, every detail was aligned to create a strong, recognizable brand identity. This approach reflects how a professional ecommerce photography studio delivers scalable, consistent visuals across product pages, social media, and marketing campaigns.

A Full Visual System for a Modern Modest Brand

One of the featured projects this month at Shootify, a leading product photography studio, focuses on a fashion brand designed for modern modest women. The collection was created by a young designer, Miri, whose vision is to bring a more refined, stylish approach to modest clothing while helping women feel confident and beautiful.

From the beginning, the goal of this project was clear — create a full visual system that supports both ecommerce and brand storytelling. This included product photography for ecommerce, creative assets for social media, and video content, all built with strong consistency across every format.

Flat Lay Photography Across the Full Line

For the core of the collection, we produced flat lay photography for the entire product line. Maintaining consistency across a large number of SKUs is critical for any online store, and this is where working with a specialized ecommerce product photography studio makes a difference. Each item was styled carefully to match the same lighting, angles, and composition, ensuring a clean and professional look across the website.

Pinned Wall Technique for Natural Shape

Ecommerce product photography and video services by Shootify. Light blue denim sleeveless pinafore dress on white.

For this brand, we used a specific technique — pinned wall flat lays. This method allows garments to hold a more natural shape compared to traditional flat lays. By slightly lifting and shaping the fabric, combined with a controlled drop shadow, the clothing gains dimension.

This technique helps highlight texture, structure, and fabric quality, which is especially important for fashion brands selling online.

Creative Editorial Flat Lays for Social Media

Creative flat lay clothing photography for ecommerce. Folded white tee, ivory sneakers and accessories on a beige background.

In addition to standard ecommerce images, we created creative flat lays — also known as editorial flat lays. These images are designed for Instagram and marketing use, focusing on storytelling rather than just product presentation.

Using movement, composition, and styling, these visuals give the brand a more elevated and engaging look while still keeping the product as the main focus.

On-Model Photography and Video Production

The project also included on-model photography and video production. Working with models allowed us to show how the garments fit and move in real life, which adds another layer of value for customers.

Alongside photography, we produced short-form video content and Instagram Reels, designed to support social media marketing and increase engagement.

Social-Ready Content for Shopify Stores

The same production produced Reels, short-form videos, and still content tuned for Shopify product pages and Instagram. Having one studio handle both photo and video keeps brand tone, lighting, and pacing identical across every format.

One Studio, One Visual Identity

One of the most important aspects of this project was maintaining full consistency across all deliverables. Whether it’s product images, lifestyle photos, or video content, everything was matched in terms of lighting, color tones, and overall style. This level of consistency is what creates a strong and recognizable brand identity.

This is why many brands choose to work with one product photography studio for all their content. When everything is produced under one system, it ensures color consistency, lighting consistency, and style consistency across all platforms — from ecommerce websites to social media and advertising.

Another advantage is efficiency. By handling flat lay photography, on-model shoots, and video production within the same workflow, brands can streamline production and often benefit from better pricing on larger projects.

At Shootify, the focus is always on delivering high-quality product photography services that support growth for online brands. For fashion brands — especially those with a strong concept like modest wear — having consistent, high-quality imagery is not just important, it’s essential.

Ghost Mannequin Clothing Photography: Alexis Fashion Brand Project

Ghost Mannequin Clothing Photography: Alexis Fashion Brand Project

This project features Shootify’s ghost mannequin clothing photography for Alexis, a high-end women’s fashion brand. The production focused on delivering clean, consistent ecommerce product photography while maintaining the designer’s original vision for each look.

From testing lighting and styling to executing a large-scale shoot, every detail was aligned with brand standards. As a product photography studio specializing in ghost mannequin photography, Shootify ensures each garment is presented with precision, structure, and consistency — creating images that are ready for online stores, product catalogs, and scalable ecommerce use.

Large-Scale Ghost Mannequin for a High-End Brand

This project with Alexis, a high-end women’s fashion brand, is a strong example of large-scale ghost mannequin photography executed with precision and consistency. The goal was to photograph a full collection using ghost mannequin clothing photography, creating clean, structured images that highlight the design, fit, and details of each garment.

For fashion brands, especially in the high-end segment, maintaining quality and consistency across all images is critical.

Test Shoot and Brand Alignment

We started with a test shoot. This step is essential when working with brands that have a strong visual identity. During the test, we aligned on key elements — lighting setup, background tone, and overall styling direction. Alexis also provided detailed styling notes to ensure every piece was presented exactly as intended by the designer. Once everything was approved, we moved into full production.

Preparation and Styling

As part of Shootify’s standard workflow, every item was carefully prepared before shooting. Each garment was inspected, steamed, and styled to achieve a clean, polished look. Preparation is one of the most important steps in product photography for ecommerce, as it directly affects the final result.

For this project, the collection included over 200 items, each photographed front and back. The shoot was completed over five days, following a structured production system to maintain consistency across the entire collection.

Eight Mannequin Forms for Every Silhouette

One of the key elements of this shoot was the use of multiple mannequin forms. We worked with eight different mannequin shapes to ensure each garment was presented in the best possible way. Different styles require different forms — and selecting the right one helps create a more natural, flattering silhouette.

This approach allows each item to be shown in its most desirable and sellable position, which is essential for ecommerce photography.

Consistency Across 200+ Items

Consistency remained a priority throughout the entire process. Every image was captured with the same camera position, lighting, and angles. This ensures that when the collection is displayed online, all products feel aligned and cohesive.

High-End Retouching

Invisible mannequin product photography studio by Shootify. Yellow polka-dot ruffled tiered halter dress shot ghost-mannequin style on white.

After the shoot, the images went through high-end retouching. This included detailed cleanup, shape refinement, and finishing touches to ensure each garment looks accurate and polished. The goal of retouching is not to change the product, but to present it at its best while staying true to the original design.

The final ghost mannequin images were used for the brand’s online store and product catalog. This style of photography is widely used in fashion ecommerce because it creates a clean, distraction-free presentation while still showing structure and fit.

Product Video for Ecommerce

To support the launch, we also produced a short product video using the same ghost mannequin setup — giving customers a dynamic view of cut, drape, and movement without distracting model-led context.

Hybrid AI Model Extension

In addition to the core ecommerce images, we extended the project using Shootify’s hybrid workflow. Using the ghost mannequin images as a base, we created an AI-powered campaign that transforms studio images into on-model visuals. This allows brands to generate lifestyle and model imagery without organizing a full photoshoot, while still maintaining accuracy in fit and proportions.

This combination of ghost mannequin photography and AI models provides flexibility for brands:

  • clean product images for ecommerce
  • model-style visuals for marketing
  • consistent visuals across all platforms

A Reliable System for Fashion at Scale

Working with one product photography studio for both production and post-production ensures full control over quality and consistency. This project highlights how Shootify supports fashion brands at scale — from high-volume ghost mannequin photography to advanced content creation.

For brands like Alexis, where detail, structure, and presentation matter, having a reliable system in place makes all the difference.

Flat lays allow customers to focus on what matters most: the product itself. Fabric, color, graphics, and construction are easy to see, and collections look clean and organized when displayed together. At Shootify, flat lay photography is not treated as a single technique, but as a system. The setup, styling, and lighting are chosen based on the product, the brand, and how the images will be used across the website, social media, and campaigns.

Types of Flat Lay Photography

Not all flat lays are the same. The right setup depends on the garment and the visual goal. A professional flat lay photographer selects the approach that best supports the product.

Tabletop Flat Lays

This is the most traditional flat lay setup. The garment is placed flat on a table or board and photographed from directly above. Tabletop flat lays work well for many products, especially T-shirts, hoodies, and simple tops. They create a clean, balanced look and are easy to keep consistent across large collections. This setup is often used when symmetry and clarity are the priority.

Hanging Flat Lays

In a hanging flat lay, the garment is suspended on a wall or board rather than lying flat. Gravity allows the fabric to fall naturally, helping to show length and drape. This approach works particularly well for dresses, coats, and longer garments. Hanging flat lays add a more natural feel without using a mannequin, and are useful when fabric movement is part of the design.

Pinned Wall Flat Lays

Pinned wall flat lays are a more controlled version of hanging flat lays. The garment is carefully pinned or taped to a vertical surface to create structure and symmetry. This technique removes uneven folds and creates a clean, front-facing presentation. The result is similar to a ghost mannequin image, but achieved through flat lay styling. It’s a strong option for garments that need clear shape and sharp lines. Each flat lay type serves a different purpose. Some brands use one method consistently, while others mix techniques based on the product. For example, tabletop flat lays may be used for most items, while pinned wall or hanging flat lays are chosen for pieces that benefit from added structure or natural drape. The focus is always on showing the garment in the most effective way.

Styling Approaches for Flat Lays

The setup is only the starting point. Styling is what turns a flat lay into a professional product image.

Grouped Flat Lays

Grouped flat lays show multiple products in one image. This can be a full outfit, coordinated pieces, or the same item in different colors. Grouped images are useful for showing collections and how products work together. They are often used on category pages, lookbooks, or marketing content, as long as the layout stays clean and product-focused.

Styled Grouped Flat Lays

Even a single garment benefits from thoughtful styling. Small adjustments — like shaping a collar, folding a sleeve, or controlling how fabric sits — can make the product feel more natural and wearable. The goal is not to over-style, but to present the garment in a way that feels intentional and aligned with the brand.

Stuffed Flat Lays (Adding Volume)

Flat lays can sometimes look too flat if not styled correctly. To avoid this, Shootify uses filler materials and custom shapers to add subtle volume and structure. Stuffing helps jackets, hoodies, sweaters, and dresses look more dimensional. The garment appears fuller and more realistic, without using a mannequin. All supports are removed in retouching, leaving a clean final image. This styling is used for Zara flat lays.

Amazon Product Photography: Baby Wipes Full Listing Project

Amazon Product Photography | Baby Wipes Full Listing Project

Creating a strong Amazon listing requires more than just product images — it’s a full visual system. In this project, Shootify delivered complete Amazon product photography services for a baby wipes brand, combining product on white photography, hero shots, infographics, video, and AI lifestyle images. Each asset was designed to meet Amazon requirements while building a clear and trustworthy brand presence. As a product photography studio for ecommerce, Shootify provides everything needed for Amazon — from clean product images to conversion-focused visuals that help products stand out and sell.

The Project

This project focused on creating a complete Amazon product photography package for a baby wipes brand — built to support both visibility and conversions.

For Amazon, having a full set of optimized visuals is essential. It’s not just about showing the product, but clearly communicating quality, benefits, and use. That’s why we combined multiple services into one streamlined production.

Product on White & Hero Shot

We started with product on white photography, which is the foundation of every Amazon listing. Clean, high-resolution images on a pure white background ensure compliance with Amazon guidelines while giving the product a professional and trustworthy look.

The hero image was designed to be clear and impactful. It highlights the packaging, proportions, and overall product design — helping the product stand out in search results.

Multiple Angles & Detail Shots

In addition to the main image, we captured multiple angles and detailed shots. These images allow customers to fully understand the product before purchasing. Close-ups focused on texture, material, and packaging details — especially important for baby products where quality and safety are key factors.

Product Video

Next, we created a product video. Video plays an important role in ecommerce, especially on Amazon. For this project, the focus was on demonstrating how soft, flexible, and durable the wipes are. Showing movement and real interaction with the product helps build trust and gives customers a better understanding than still images alone.

Infographic Design

Another key part of this project was infographic design. Infographics are one of the most effective tools for Amazon listings. We developed clear, easy-to-read visuals that highlight the main benefits of the product — such as strength, softness, and usability. These images combine product photography with graphic elements, helping communicate information quickly and effectively.

AI-Generated Lifestyle Images

To complete the visual system, we created lifestyle images using AI. Instead of organizing a full lifestyle shoot, we photographed the actual product in studio and then used AI to place it into natural, realistic environments. This approach keeps the product accurate while allowing for soft, clean scenes that resonate with the target audience.

The lifestyle images were designed to feel natural and relatable — showing how the product fits into everyday use. For baby wipes, this means clean, soft, and minimal environments that communicate comfort and care.

A Complete Amazon-Ready Package

One of the main advantages of working with a single ecommerce photography studio is consistency. Every asset in this project — from product images to video and infographics — follows the same lighting, color tones, and visual direction.

This creates a cohesive listing where everything feels aligned: product on white images for clarity, hero shots for strong first impression, detail shots for transparency, video for engagement, infographics for information, and lifestyle images for emotional connection. Together, these elements form a complete Amazon-ready package.

By combining Amazon product photography, video production, and AI-generated lifestyle images, Shootify delivers a system designed not just for visuals, but for performance. At the end of the project, the client received everything needed to launch and scale their product online. The listing is fully built with consistent, high-quality visuals that meet Amazon standards and support customer decision-making.

This is what modern product photography services for ecommerce look like — not just images, but a complete visual strategy designed to help products sell.

Hybrid Product Photography + AI Models: Fashion Ecommerce Project

Hybrid Product Photography + AI Models | Fashion Ecommerce Project

This project highlights Shootify’s hybrid approach, combining product photography with AI models to create scalable, high-quality visuals for ecommerce brands. Designed for a new fashion label featuring hoodies, T-shirts, and pants, the production included flat lay photography, creative direction, and AI-generated lifestyle imagery. By merging studio precision with AI-powered editorial content, this workflow delivers consistent branding across product pages and social media. As a product photography studio for online shops, Shootify provides a full system — from concept to final visuals — built for modern ecommerce and content-driven brands.

The Project

This project is a strong example of Shootify’s hybrid workflow — combining traditional product photography services with AI-generated content to create a complete visual system for ecommerce brands.

The client is a new fashion designer entering the market with a clean, comfortable streetwear-inspired collection for both men and women. The product line included hoodies, T-shirts, and pants — designed with a minimal aesthetic and a focus on everyday wear.

As with many new brands, the challenge was not only to create product images, but to define a full visual identity from the start. That’s where working with a product photography studio that offers both creative direction and production becomes essential.

Flat lay fashion product photography by Shootify. Grey heather t-shirt with 'Create the shift' globe graphic shot flat on a grey background for Power of Mindset.

Creative Direction & Pin Wall Flat Lay

We began with a creative discovery phase. The client shared details about the brand, target audience, and positioning. Based on this, we developed a creative direction — including a visual mood board that defined the style for both flat lay photography and editorial content.

The concept combined two key directions: clean ecommerce visuals for the website, and lifestyle imagery showing how the clothing fits into real life.

For the ecommerce side, we produced flat lay photography across the full collection. We selected pinned wall flat lays, a technique often used by leading fashion brands. This approach allows garments to hold a natural shape while maintaining a clean presentation. Using a light gray background, controlled contrast lighting, and a soft drop shadow, the images highlight fabric texture and structure while keeping a consistent, modern look.

This is especially important for ecommerce product photography, where clarity and consistency directly impact how customers perceive the product.

AI-Generated Editorial Imagery

Alongside the studio work, we developed the second part of the project — AI-generated editorial imagery. Instead of organizing a full lifestyle shoot across multiple locations, we used AI to create realistic scenarios where models wear the clothing in everyday environments. These included beach settings, urban streets, and lifestyle moments with both male and female models.

The key advantage of this hybrid workflow is efficiency without sacrificing visual quality. By starting with high-quality product photography, we ensure that textures, colors, and fit remain accurate. AI is then used to extend those visuals into lifestyle content, creating a full campaign look without the complexity of traditional production.

A Consistent Visual Language

The result is a consistent visual language across all assets: product images for ecommerce, editorial images for marketing, and social media content including lifestyle visuals. Everything is aligned in terms of lighting, tones, and overall style.

This level of consistency is one of the biggest advantages of working with a single ecommerce photography studio. When all content is created within one system, brands get color consistency across images, matching light and mood, and a unified brand identity.

For growing fashion brands, this approach is not only more efficient but also more scalable. As collections expand, the same visual system can be applied across new products without starting from scratch.

Shootify’s hybrid model — combining product photography with AI models — is designed specifically for modern ecommerce brands that need both speed and quality. It allows brands to produce content that works across websites, social media, and advertising, while maintaining a clean and consistent look. This project reflects how new fashion brands can launch with a strong visual identity from day one — using a combination of creative direction, studio photography, and AI-powered production.
